"The room was clean and adequate however it was situated on the front of the building adjacent to the main road, some noise was block out by the double glazing but we would have prefered a quieter room at the back of the hotel, if we were staying for a week or longer we would have asked to be moved."

"I didnt realise that the hotel was directly on the main road, although you couldnt hear the traffic from the room( we were at the front of the hotel). The reception was welcoming and there was a good overall friendly feeling from the hotel staff. The rooms were nice with the period features and were very comfortable. The breakfasts were nice, although the portions were not all that big, unless you had more toast. Overall it was a very nice place to stay."
