Southside Guest House Edinburgh is a small but friendly establishment proving homely accommodation in the centre of Edinburgh. Southside comes highly recommended and has no less than 4 stars from the Scottish Tourist board and the AA as well as recommendation in the book “Scotland the best” by Peter Irvine.

Both double rooms have striking decor and atmosphere; rich and warm. Room 5 has a bath as well as a shower. Room 2 has a wooden floor and oriental rugs. One double room faces Newington Road, the other overlooks the rear garden.

One of the two single rooms has a double bed, whereas the other has an interesting iron framed bed. Both are charming and welcoming. Both single rooms overlook Newington Road.

One twin has bold shades of green and comfortable sofa, wooden floor and oriental rugs- the other is designed in deep reds and purples. Both are unique and very attractive. One Twin Room overlooks the rear garden, the other faces Newington Road.

The Mackintosh is a stunning room with a four poster bed, large sofa and stylish design. It has a wooden floor, oriental rugs and bay window. The Terrace Room is rich in purples and warm cream with a black wooden floor, fireplace and leather sofa. It has its own Terrace. The Mackintosh Room has a large seating area and overlooks Newington Road. The Terrace Room also has a seating area and a Terrace overlooking the garden.
